How does the piercing process work?

An older piercing can often be reopened or adjusted, but it always depends on how the area has healed, whether there is scarring, and on your anatomy. Not every piercing can be redone immediately, and sometimes it’s better to choose a different placement or a different type of jewelry. In some areas, the wrong jewelry type or size can cause irritation and prolong healing.

Before you start, book a consultation with a piercer. Bring photos or describe your idea — the piercer will tell you right away whether the piercing is suitable for your anatomy, what jewelry type and size they recommend, and what the healing process will be like. Choosing the right material and closure is also important to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

You can come in for a free consultation, which can be arranged online, or you can visit us for a walk-in during opening hours. If you come with a group of friends, we offer discounts for two or more people who want piercings at the same time.

Please cancel your appointment as early as possible; a deposit refund request (if a deposit was paid) is possible no later than 3 days before the procedure, otherwise the deposit is non-refundable. The price can be determined online — just send an email with the type of piercing, placement, and optionally photos. All consultations, recommendations, and basic aftercare instructions are free.
